The artist is a rolller

April 7, 1839, the IAH council determined to recognize. Roller is an academician “so that he paints a picture in a decoration gender for the Academy, he can choose an object of which by his own arbitrariness”. On September 11, 1841, the artist “presented as a gift to the Academy a picture of his composition depicting the Roman cemetery”. The Council defined, “having accepted the picture of Academician Roller with gratitude and notifying him about this, transfer it to storage to the Academic Museum and add to the Museum’s List”. In 1842, at the exhibition in IAX, this picture was apparently shown under the name "A promising type of ruins" (Exhibition index in IAX 1842. With. fifteen).
