Grand Duchess Ekaterina Mikhailovna (1827–1894) – third daughter of Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich and Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna. Since 1851-the wife of the Duke of George Augusta Ernest Adolf Karl Ludwig Meklenburg-Strelitsky (1823–1876), the second son of George, the Grand Duke of Meklenburg-Strelitsky (1779–1860) and Duchess Maria Hesse Casselskaya (1817–1860). From 1847 to 1870 – a full member of the St. Petersburg female patriotic society, was the patroness of institutions founded by her mother and forming the department of Grand Duchess Elena Pavlovna. Had three children: Elena Maria, Georga Alexander and Karl Mikhail.
